ticketsNFL.com has your
Tennessee Titans tickets for the 2006-07 NFL season and NFL playoff tickets, including prices you won't find
anywhere else! We have been in the business of selling Tennessee Titans
tickets for over 12 years and offer secure online ordering, great prices
and selection on Tennessee Titans football tickets. The Titans let 3 of their mainstay players go for the 2004-05 season, Frank Wycheck, Javon Kearse and Eddie George, turning the page
on the team that had gotten to the 2000 Super Bowl and part of the famous Music City Miracle. The newly signed Antowain Smith will start at running back along with young TE Erron Kinney and receiver Drew Bennett.
Albert Haynesworth will replace Kearse, so the team definitely has a new look, but will still have the veteran leadership of Steve Mcnair to try and make some noise in the AFC playoffs and even have a good chance
at getting back to the Super Bowl.

| Tennessee Titans team history |
The Tennessee Titans are in the NFL's AFC South division. The Titans were once the Houston Oilers,
and relocated in 1997 changing the name to reflect a more accurate description of the city and redefining
the NFL franchise. The Oilers were one of the most consistent NFL teams in the late 80's and early 90's, mostly
because of the consistent play and leadership of then quarterback Warren Moon. However,
the team never reached a Super Bowl until relocating to Tennessee. Under the guidance of coach Jeff Fischer in 1999, the Titans ran
through the AFC playoffs and played arguably in two of the best NFL playoff games ever that year. In their first round AFC playoff game
against the Buffalo Bills, the Titans were down to just the kickoff with only 16 seconds remaining.
In the ensuing kickoff Frank Wycheck received the pass on the far side line and heaved a lateral pass (some question whether it was legal)
to Titans receiver Kevin Dyson who then sprinted down the sideline 75 yards for a touchdown with no time left on the clock, giving the Titans a first round win.
The next week the Titans beat the Colts by just a field goal 19-16 then the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship game, which set up a Super Bowl matchup against the St.Louis Rams with Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk.
In the Super Bowl, Eddie George shined for the Titans scoring 2 rushing touchdowns. With just over 2 minutes to go Titans Quarterback Steve Mcnair led the team down
the field down by a touchdown 24-17. With only 6 seconds remaining Mcnair dropped back to pass and found Kevin Dyson, but he was just short of the endzone and got tackled by Rams player Mike Jones.
Dyson tried to stretch, but he was already marked down giving the Rams their first Super Bowl win and leaving the Titans with a loss literally by 1 yard.
